Mindmap of ideas

I have created a mindmap of ideas linked to my chosen song 'I'm a Mess'. Most of these ideas revolve around the protagonist either going through a personal struggle, or the protagonist trying to help a friend or partner get through a hard time. I think I am going to use the idea of the protagonist going through an addiction that is causing him to lose the people that mean the most to him and the video will follow his struggle to over come his addiction. As an initial thought I think I am going to end the video with the protagonist dying from an overdose as he uses the drugs/alcohol to deal with the loss of his lover. He wouldnt die in a hospital though I would want him to die in quite a grimey and dirty place. I'm also thinking of experimenting with performance elements within the video to break up the narrative, however I might lose this if it proves to difficult to match the lip syncing with the music.
